We are collecting gently used adult and junior tennis rackets, golf clubs, golf balls and pickleball equipment. Please contact mike@gnvsports.com and we will schedule to pick up your items.
The Gainesville Youth Sports Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are fully tax deductible!. All funds are subject to the Gainesville Youth Sports Foundation, Inc. full discretion and control.
Long Term Goals
The long-term vision of the Gainesville Youth Sports Foundation, Inc. is to invest capital into existing and new infrastructure required to support youth sports in the growing Gainesville community. Gainesville is severely lacking in adequate facilities for our students to safely practice or host high school sporting events. Access to basic amenities like public golf courses, football stadiums, dedicated indoor practice facilities, lighted courts and fields are found in most communities around the United States. Our children should not be forced to travel outside of Alachua County to practice high school sports. Alachua county and Gainesville cannot expect to compete on a state level with other Floridia communities that have better year-round access to public sports facilities. Our goal is to transform Gainesville the heartbeat of youth and high school sports in Florida.
Gainesville needs the following projects:
Permanent Indoor batting cages for softball and baseball
Indoor softball and baseball practice infields
Multiple High School football stadiums
Public Par 3 Golf Course with full length driving range and short game area
Dedicated indoor tennis and pickleball courts
Indoor Soccer Arena
